The Playhouse Welcomes April Audia

We can't say who she'll be playing just yet, but we will say this. One more diva in Mishawaka is one too many. Watch her go head-to-head with Aileen-Marie Scott this fall when Season Two debuts.

Originally from New York, April moved to Los Angeles and studied at LACC Theatre Academy. She has performed all through the Los Angeles area as well as regionally in Theatre productions of Dancing at Lughnasa, Moon Over Buffalo, Side Man, A Piece of My Heart, Beehive, The Rose Tattoo, Godspell, Gypsy, Grease and about seventy more!  Her TV work includes, several episodes of Disney's sketch comedy show "So Random" as well as roles in Wizards of Waverly Place, Accidentally on Purpose, Bold and the Beautiful, Andy Richter Controls the Universe and many others. Additional work includes her first film "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" to a more recent PSA for LA Poverty Organization, as well as a documentary "Questions & Actors" about life as an actor. She is currently working on the play "Push Up" at Studio A Theatre, West Valley Playhouse production of "Hanzel and Gretel" and just wrapped a short film entitled "Levittown".  She is so happy to be joining the second season of "The Playhouse Soap Opera" and can't wait to cause as much trouble as this small town can take!!

The Playhouse Welcomes Gregory Guy Gorden

Gregory Guy Gorden joins The Playhouse in Season Two as Keith Comstock. Tune in this fall to see what kind of trouble Keith stirs up in The Mishawaka Playhouse.

Gregory Guy Gorden (Keith) is thrilled to be joining the hilarious cast of The Playhouse. Gregory is a member of Sacred Fools Theater Company and has appeared in their productions of  Forbidden Zone, Carnevil, Don Giovanni Tonight...,  and many Serial Killers. Regional credits include the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Kansas City Starlight Theatre, and Houston's Theatre Under the Stars.  Past shows include Cabaret (Emcee), Footloose (Willard), Little Shop of Horrors (Orin), The Big Bang (Boyd), Top Gun! The Musical (Iceman), The Baltimore Waltz (Carl), Corpus Christi (James) & Howard Crabtree’s When Pigs Fly (Howard).  Film credits include I Want to Get Married, Bella Nubela, & Hunter4Love.  www.gregoryguygorden.com

The Playhouse Welcomes Aileen-Marie Scott

Aileen joins the cast in Season Two as Mona Montrose.

Aileen-Marie Scott is no stranger to being a dramatic theater diva, as she was last seen as Mama Rose in Gypsy.  Other credits include Babe in The Pajama Game.  Aileen-Marie Chantilly in The Chantilly Sisters, M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias, Yvonne/Alice in Sunday in the Park with George.  Sarah in Quilters (South Bay CLO), Godspell (South Bay CLO), Flemmschen in Grand Hotel (Performance Riverside), Sally Bowles in Cabaret (Curtis Theatre), Chloe in Lips Together, Teeth Apart (Best Actress Award), Sara Jane Moore in Assassins, Mrs. Phagan in the LA Premiere of Parade, Georgie in The Full Monty, Gussie in Merrily We Roll Along, Chairy in Barnum, Beverly in The Shadow Box, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Amy in Company and The Bakers Wife as well as the Witch in Into the Woods.
